Longest Yard (1974)

In this story of ups and downs, filmed on location in the Georgia State Prison, the prisoners are the heroes and prison guards the big guys. Eddie Albert is the sadistic prison guard who will do everything in his semi-pro football team of prison guards to get the national championship. Reynolds plays Paul Crewe Quarterback, now behind bars because he is a "borrowed car" to a police chase has driven. He accepts the idea of a team with the prisoners against the guards to play. The custodian is a good word and ensures that his team only passive resistance from Crewe's can expect Mean Machine. But the permission to to pound on their hated guards is a great reward for the killers and thieves, but there is an earlier release of the game.
